The Color Run 2024 is a 5k Race and 1-mile Fun Run to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi and Songkran, the Thai New Year.

This event combines two joyous festivals. Holi is popularly known as the “Festival of Colors" and the "Festival of Spring." On Holi, entire towns are bathed in vivid colors as people play Holi by splashing colored powder and water. Songkran in Thai means "to move" or "change place." Thai believe that water is purifying: it cleanses one of any bad luck from the past year, and blesses one with good fortune and happiness for the year ahead. On Songkran, people celebrate with water play.

At Color Run 2024, runners and walkers will be splashed with colored powder at various points along the route in Brookdale Park. Enjoy music, activities, a color play zone, photo booth, and much more!

There will be a detour at the finish line for participants who prefer less color. (Note: it will be difficult to completely avoid the colored powder, so please take that into consideration before registering for the race.) Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. Children under two years old do not need to register. Race will take place rain or shine. No refunds.
