The fifth annual Camp Leavenworth is a Free two-day festival that invites everyone to discover the wonders of Leavenworth. Camp Leavenworth will feature Friday night fireworks, family activities, Makers Fair and unique experiences around our historic downtown - people will see how much fun it is to break out from the ordinary and live life Free. Leave it to Kansas to throw a shindig as adventurous as this. Admission is Free to the public.

Silent Disco:
Embrace Quiet Hours at camp at our Silent Disco! Two deejays will play music through wireless headphones rather than a speaker system creating the ultimate silent dance party. Those participating in the silent disco will hear music from one of the two deejays through their headphones that may be the same or different from their neighbor dancing in the silent disco. Not only is this a blast to participate in but it is just as fun for those passing by that hear no music, watching an area full of people dancing to silence.
Sidewalk Chalk Contest:
The contest is themed "Camp Site" human or animal, what is your ideal camp site? Tent, RV, shelter made of twigs? Get creative and have FUN! All deisgns will be curated and judged by LV Arts.

10am: Camp Leavenworth 5K Run and Walk
Celebrate Leavenworth and Sunflower Season!
3rd Annual! Open to runners and walkers, this unique and fun event features stunning views from the bluffs of the Missouri River on closed-to-traffic roads.
-Sunflowers for all finishers!
-Awesome race shirt for 18+
-Free beer ticket for finishers (21 and up)
-$350 prize purse ($100/$50/$25 for the top male and female finishers)
-On-course cheerleaders
-Age-group awards in 10-year increments (14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; etc.) plus top male and female w/stroller
-Kids under 18 race Free!
Walkers welcome! Stollers welcome. Bicycles and Dogs (except service animals) are not allowed.
Minimum age: 14 to run on your own. Children under 14 Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire course.
