The Children's Museum's Annual 5K Road Race and Kid-venture Course events are held each spring to ensure that a visit to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is possible for everyone! The 5K Race is part of the Seacoast Road Race Series and held in downtown Dover, with a start and finish in front of the Children's Museum of New Hampshire.

Kid-venture Course
After the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s annual 5k Road Race this same morning, kids ages 1-12 looking for a shorter (and sillier) challenge will have their chance to step up to the starting line of our Kid-venture Course. This quirky course will be filled with silly challenges and provide a fun time for all. New this year, we’re inviting kids to dress up in a “Think Spring” theme: wear bright colors, add some fairy or butterfly wings, throw on some antennae or animal ears – use your imaginations! And after all age groups have had a chance to conquer the course, we’ll invite them back to take the MEGA CHALLENGE, which is a race around the park and then back through the course! All Kid-venture participants receive a ribbon and a t-shirt (while supplies last) and can join in the many activities taking place at this yearly fundraising event held outside, rain or shine in Henry Law Park.

Schedule:

- Day-of registration: Saturday, May 5, 7:30-8:45am at the Amphitheater in front of the Children's Museum of NH in Henry Law Park
- 5k Race Starts: 9am
- Kid-venture Course Starts: 10am
