Turkey Trot Eugene Alton Baker Park - Eugene, Oregon 5K and 10K
Races will be located at Alton Baker Park. 5K or 10K (new). Event benefits Food for Lane County during this great time of need for families in Lane County. No dogs allowed, due to the nature of how the course lays out on the bike paths and as a courtesy to others. Baby strollers are allowed; however, we ask that you start towards the back, or off to the side during the relatively narrow start area. Be a trotter, feed a family!
Course Description:
This Thanksgiving Day event consists of a 5K and 10K this year! It's a beautiful tour around the Ruth Bascom Trail network in the greater Alton Baker Park area; with a new course that crosses the river twice. Revised 11/21/23. Many sections of the course are situated right next to the Willamette River with great views. Runners will finish at the same location they started . Minimal elevation gain for this course. Open to runners and walkers of all fitness levels. No Dogs, due to the narrowness of the course and a short out and back section. Thank you for understanding.
