Greg Grooters Memorial 5K and Kids Run

Sheyenne High School Track & Field team is working in coordination with SoleMOTION Race Management LLC to bring the 8th annual “Greg Grooters Memorial Run” to the streets of West Fargo on Saturday, April 13th.

Greg passed away after battling cancer in 2016 and was a long-time teacher, coach and administrator in the West Fargo Public Schools. He was the first principal of Sheyenne High School and took great pride in creating traditions while establishing the school. He was also an avid runner and track and cross country fan. He participated in countless road races, coached West Fargo and Moorhead High School track and cross country teams to State Championships, and loved to follow local track and cross country athletes! The "Greg Grooters Memorial Run" was established to honor Greg’s legacy and continue to make an impact on Sheyenne students.

7:30 AM Packet Pick-up and registration opens

8:30 AM - 1/4 Mile Start

8:45 AM - 5K Start

10:00 AM (Approximately) - Awards
