On August 25th, runners from throughout New England and beyond will gather in the quaint town of Marlborough — nestled in the picturesque Monadnock Region of southern New Hampshire — for the 7th running of the Marlborough Mad Dash.
This will also be the first year that the Mad Dash is part of the MAGP (Monadnock Area Grand Prix) Race Series. The Mad Dash is the 10th race on the 2018 MAGP calendar.
The 5K race and fun run attracts competitive and recreational runners of all ages. USATF-certified, the Mad Dash is a challenging course, winding along scenic rural roads and rolling hills lined with stone walls and spectacular foliage.
8AM - Same Day Registration and Check-In, Bib, Shirt and Packet Pick-up
9AM - Starting Time: 5K Road Race (5k or 3.106 miles/USATF-certified)
9:15AM - Starting Time: Fun Run
11AM - Awards Ceremony will take place in the Municipal Parking Lot off Frost Street adjacent to Jai Food Mart.
The Mad Dash race is a challenging, USATF-certified 5K (3.106 miles) course that winds along stone wall lined rural roads and scenic New England countryside. Starting on Frost Hill Road in Marlborough, NH, the course runs South past Meeting House Cemetery, turning around at Jaffrey Road (Rt. 124), then double-backing North up Frost Hill Rd. The course next takes a right on Colonial Road and then another right onto Stone Pond Road leading runners to the finish line.
