SC Pecan Music and Food Festival

The 2021 SC Pecan Music and Food Festival marks its 17th annual event on Saturday, November 6, 2021. This exciting one-day festival has delighted residents and visitors alike and is the area’s largest event, drawing over 50,000 attendees each year.

Find your creative side at Arts on Evans! Enjoy arts activities and demonstrations, check out the chalk art competition, and experience the creative side of the SC Pecan Music and Food Festival.

Chalk it Up Chalk Art Contest
Get creative as an individual or as a group at the Chalk it Up! Chalk Art Competition on Evans Street. Sign up early, as space is limited.

Contest Schedule:
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Artist check-in and registration (artists may begin work upon check-in)
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Competition artists create work and open work time for the public in designated space
3: 00 p.m.  All competition work must be complete
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Judging of competition work
4:00 p.m. Announcement of winners and presentation of prizes

The Pecan Pub

The Pecan Pub is the perfect place to kick back, watch the big game, and sample flights of your favorite fall craft brews. This beer-garden inspired area is a respite from all of the family fun and is open for adults 21+ only. The 2021 brew menu will be posted here soon!

New for 2021, hear from master local brewers, learn about brewing craft beer, and more. We are working on the complete schedule of exciting craft brew experiences and will post the full line-up soon!

Classic Car Show:

17th Annual Car & Truck Show

The SC Pecan Music and Food Festival, in partnership with the Swamp Fox Old Car Club, hosts an open classic car show each year on W. Evans Street inside the festival grounds. Bring your best classic car and compete in a wide variety of classes throughout the day.

Registration for participating car enthusiasts is $25 per entry and runs from 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at 291 W. Evans Street at the corner of Evans and Coit Streets in Downtown Florence.

Trophies awarded for "Best Production," "Best Non-production," "Mayor's Choice," "Top 3 in Each Class."

Cash prizes and a 50/50 Drawing, too!

Run and Bike Like a Nut:

Run Like a Nut 5K, 10K, USATF Half Marathon

The SC Pecan Music and Food Festival wouldn’t be complete without our annual Run Like a Nut road races. Choose from our 5K, 10K, or USATF certified half marathon through the beautiful Downtown Florence residential areas. The courses are flat and fast, and all races depart from 120 E. Elm Street (the former Fitness Forum) downtown.

Cyclists come from across the country for the annual Bike Like a Nut Rides. Choose from a half-metric and metric century ride and experience Florence from your road bike! All rides depart from 120 E. Elm Street (the former Fitness Forum) downtown.
