Sun Run: La Primera 5K/10K Roadrace with FitKidz Mile

Join Us for the 2025 Sun Run: La Primera!

Kick off the 2025 racing season on January 26th, 2025 with Sun Run: La Primera, the first race in The Running Shop/Mizuno SAR Grand Prix series (10k). This year, we’re excited to introduce a brand new course at Christopher Columbus Park! Runners will enjoy a scenic loop around the Santa Cruz River Path, featuring gently rolling hills that make this route a fresh challenge and departure from the typical out-and-back.

We will also provide a FitKidz Mile after most have completed the 5k and 10k.

Event Schedule:

8:00 AM - 10k Start - SAR Grand Prix Race

8:15 AM - 5k Start

8:45 AM - FitKidz Mile Start

9:30 AM - Awards Ceremony 5k with the 10k Starting After FitKidz Finishes
